Harry Styles says dating Taylor Swift was a pain in the You-Know-What in "This is Us"

Harry Styles may have requested that footage of Taylor Swift be removed from One Direction‘s 3D movie, ‘This Is Us,’ but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t spill a tiny bit about her in the film.

Styles has been gentlemanly and very quiet since their high profile relationship and split, but he’s got some telling commentary about the country crossover on the big screen if rumor is to be believed.

Apparently Styles, in the movie, says that not Swift — but rather his relationship with her — was a “pain in the a–.” While on the surface is may seem sort of catty (sort of like the myriad hints and digs she’s taken at him in the press), it may also be more of a commentary on the media scrutiny of their romance than about Swift as a person.

Styles expounds on his relationship woes elsewhere in the movie. “I haven’t met a girl yet who I’d want to even think of getting serious with,” The Daily Star (via The Daily Mail) reports. “I think I’ve been unlucky in love so far. But then, I haven’t really met anyone who’s made the earth move for me.” We bet his exes are cringing!

Still, Hazza has romance in him. He confessed, “I’m longing to meet someone who really inspires me and makes me really want to spend time with them.” Aww! There’s hope for us after all.
